Prof. Janaka Ekanayake is the Chair Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Peradeniya. He is also a visiting professor at the Cardiff University, UK and Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. He has published more than 75 papers in refereed journals and has also co-authored six books. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, IET and IESL. He is recognized as the most outstanding Senior Researcher in the field of Engineering through the CVCD Excellence Award, 2018. He received many Presidential awards for scientific research. He has citations over 10,000 and h-index of 43. Prof. Janaka Ekanayake is also a Fellow IEEE(USA), IET(UK), and IESL(Sri Lanka).
