There is no doubt that EVs and BVs can provide a cleaner and more sustainable transport sector in the country. However, the effective integration of EVs/BVs into the distribution requires careful attention to both vehicle to grid (V2G) and grid to vehicle (G2V) concepts in the planning, implementation and actual operations. In this Workshop, the initiatives to-date to stimulate EV sales and the opportunities that arise with the growing presence of EVs/BVs and become acquainted with the many challenges in the effective implementation of the system.
