We are introducing the Keynote Speaker for the Awareness Session of PMU Design Workshop and Competition, Dr. Anton Hettiarachchige Don. He is a Senior Lecturer at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department. He has completed his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University focusing on Power Systems. His research areas include advanced wide area monitoring of the electrical grid system using new age measurement technologies and algorithms.
